International Students

St. Luke's Lutheran School enjoys the partnerships with other countries around the world and welcomes qualified international students to our school. Students from Sweden, The Netherlands, England, China, and South Korea, have called St. Luke's home. Having international students is a privilege for each and every student, as it is an opportunity to learn from each other about culture and customs. International students looking to apply for admissions to St. Luke's must complete the application paperwork, along with these international requirements:

Step 1 - Please provide the following paperwork for consideration toward an I-20 for admission to St. Luke’s Lutheran School. All pieces must be complete in order to begin the application process:

  1. Completed New Student Application Form
  2. Completed Fee Remittance Agreement Form, along with non-refundable $650.00 Registration Fee, per student in the form of cash or check, made payable to St. Luke’s Lutheran School or SLLS.
  3. Non-refundable student international fee of $150
  4. Copy of student’s birth certificate AND passport
  5. All of the following:
  • A copy of the student’s transcript, translated into English (1st-8th grade)
  • Proof of financial responsibility (bank/savings/investments statement)
  • Written commitment of host family

 Step 2 – Academic Screening & Interview:

  1. Skype will be used for international student’s interview. This will be scheduled by the admissions counselor and include the Principal and International Student Coordinator.

 Step 3 - Upon Administrative approval, you will need to complete the final paperwork to conclude the enrollment process:

  1. Signed Partnership Agreement
  2. Custody/Guardianship/Adoption documentation (if applicable)
  3. SEVIS I-901 Fee (

 Step 4 – After the I-20 has been issued, additional documents required to enter St. Luke’s BEFORE entering the United States:

  1. Proof of Medical Insurance
  2. Immunization Records – translated to English
  3. Medical information:
    • Current Physical Form
    • Emergency Health Information Form (form provided)
    • Medications OTC or RX authorization forms (if applicable)
